      We're that place that's right around the corner. The place where the locals go because the food's good, the staff knows your name, and you get your money's worth. It's all made here, every pastry, cake, sauce or loaf of bread; even the hamburger buns are made here. 

       That's because our first business was the Lake Eustis Baking Co. and it was nestled in the heart of downtown Eustis.  On a one way street.  With two parallel parking spaces out front...  Did I mention that it was my first business? 

       Any way, It was a lot of fun, I met Jess there and that in it's self makes it worth it.  But don't think that all we know is baking. Pastavino's is a culmination of 30 years experience.  I've worked at Ronnie's - that's where I learned to bake and manage a crew, I learned to cook at the Old Swiss House at Busch Gardens way back in the '70's, and at Lake Buena Vista(Disney World before EPCOT!) In all, I've been in the industry over thirty years.   That's long enough to have made a bride's wedding cake..and her daughter's wedding cake, too. 

       Now, Jess and I are running your neighborhood pizza joint here at the corner of Rocksprings Rd and Kelly Park.  We hope all of those folks that have been avoiding the road construction out front are aware that the road construction is finally (!) done and the road really is improved. 

      You know, in 1975, I was washing dishes in an pizzeria for $1.50 an hour, all the hours I wanted.  Last night I was washing dishes in a pizzeria, too.  You'd think the pay would have gone up.
